Wendy Flint, former director of the Career and Academic Planning Center at ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓÆµ Fox, transitioned to serve as an assistant professor of management and director of undergraduate business programs in 2021. She also teaches in the MBA, DBA, and Accelerated Online Degree programs. Her teaching specializations are Principles of Management, Operations Management, Human Resource Management, Business Teaching and Consulting, Technology & Media, and Business Ethics.
Dr. Flint has worked in management for 30 years, including technology companies (Hewlett-Packard and Electric Lightwave). Prior to ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓÆµ Fox, she was senior vice president of marketing and sales for Boston Reed College in Napa, where she led the company from $5 million to $20 million in five years.
AI Skills and Experience
Dr. Wendy Flint brings practical and strategic expertise in generative AI for higher education, instructional design, and workforce preparation. With a PhD in Teaching and Learning and Instructional Design, she serves as Curriculum Specialist for the MBA AI program and teaches the course AI Governance, Law, and Ethics. She has developed working knowledge of more than eleven AI tools, including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, NotebookLM, Gamma, Ideogram, and Perplexity, and applies them across writing, research, graphics, curriculum design, assessment, and accreditation. Dr. Flint has integrated AI critical thinking assignments into undergraduate, MBA, and DBA courses, led faculty workshops on AI-Augmented Learning design, and published thought leadership on AI, education, faith, and employment. As Director of the Undergraduate Program in the College of Business, she oversees the quality of AI assignments across seven majors: Management, Marketing, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Financial Planning, and Healthcare Administration.

Outside the Classroom
Wendy lives in Dundee, Oregon, with her husband Terry, and they have three children and six grandchildren. Wendy and Terry currently attend By His Grace Fellowship in Dundee.
They both served in two branches of the military (U.S. Navy and Air National Guard). They were the first married couple hired as telephone installers on the same day for Pacific NW Bell, and both climbed phone poles in the Portland area.
Wendy likes to write in her spare time. She is author of four Christian devotionals. She has produced podcasts on Spotify and Apple. Wendy has managed her own Christian publishing company since 1985, listed in Oregon as Word Unlimited Publishing.
